This beautiful Criollo or Argentina Gaucho knife is handmade. The handle itself is made 100% of hardwood. It has alpaca details on both the guard and butt. The blade is a JU-CA blade. It is 5.51 inch long, reaching a total length of the knife of 9.84 inches long. The sheath is made of 100% cow leather.
The main characteristics of gaucho puñales are the slim, elegant spear pointed blade, the presence of an integrally forged bolster or "button" (in Spanish, botón) which reinforces and divides the blade from its tang and file marks on the back of the blade.
Due to its size, this knife is considered a "Verijero" knife. This beautiful piece is ideal for gift, collector's item or simply for eating a delicious "asado" (barbecue).
For safety, the blade is shipped blunt.
