This Criollo or Gaucho knife is created using Hard Wood and Chiseled Alpaca.
The blade is a Schmieden blade. The blade is 5 1/2" long, reaching a total length of the knife of 9 1/2" long. The sheath is made of 100% cow leather.
The main characteristics of gaucho puñales are the slim, elegant spear pointed blade, the presence of an integrally forged bolster or "button" (in Spanish, botón) which reinforces and divides the blade from its tang and file marks on the back of the blade. Due to its size, this knife is considered a "Verijero" knife.
This beautiful piece is ideal for gift, collector's item or simply for eating a delicious "asado" (barbecue).
